Hi, I'm Kevin.

I work in applied research for medical devices, specializing in software engineering and data science. My interests lie in building safe, highly performant software and machine learning models that make a meaningful impact in healthcare. I'm currently a Principal Engineer at Abbott Laboratories, and an Associate Research Fellow in Abbott's Volwiler Society¹.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, trail running, backpacking, downhill skiing, traveling, scuba diving, reading history, spending time with family and the dogs, and churning out low-quality blog content.
